lighter, leaner 7 layer dip

I was compensated by Tyson Foods to produce this post. Some of you may be wondering where I’ve been for the last little bit. I have to admit, I’ve been wondering the same thing myself. Things have been a tad insane around here. Summer vacation just started for my kids last week, I’ve been doing quite a few books signings for my new book, I’ve been helping my good friend Julianne Donaldson with her new book Blackmoore (which comes out this comes out this fall), and I’ve been going out with some very nice people on the weekends. I’ve had very little time to cook, and with the weather getting so warm, I don’t even really want to cook. Do you ever get that way? One night last week, the kids and I got home after eight o’clock—I can’t even remember which night it was—and my daughter really wanted some Buffalo wings. I didn’t know how I was going to defrost some chicken and then cook it before it became ridiculously late, but then I remembered I had some Tyson® Grilled & Ready® chicken chicken in the freezer. All I had to do was pour some of the already cooked chicken into a skillet, heat it up, and pour my favorite wing sauce into a little bowl. The kids just dipped the chicken in the sauce, and it satisfied my daughter’s Buffalo wing cravings. I was then able to send them off to bed at a decent hour.
